h.Art - A Fairy Tale?

Having filmed something from several hundred artists at over a hundred locations across 9 days around Herefordshire I now had to create something out of the variety I'd captured. But where to start. My intent was to capture the essence of h.Art and to feature something of everything and my usual storytelling would focus on just one, maybe two key "Heart" characters. This project had to be done differently, but how. My storytelling instincts drew me to using the footage to create stories. This was the first and only short I created in that style as having completed this one I realised not only was it really bloody hard work but it wouldn't achieve my overall aim of distilling the essence of h.Art.

So how did I achieve that - and I really believe I did? Well, that's for the next post. In the meantime I present;

"Fairy Tale? This is no Fairy Tale"

It's a dark tale but it does hang together which given it's made entirely from artwork I filmed isn't bad going.
